Off-road diesel
In July 2013, the Chinese government aligned the quality standards for on-road and off-road diesel to reduce the risk of on-road diesel being adulterated with off-road diesel. At the same time, the maximum sulfur limit for diesel was set at 350 mg/kg.
Since then, on-road diesel has also been used in the off-road sector, including construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and heavy-duty commercial trucks.
Therefore, the specifications outlined for also apply to off-road diesel engines.
