This section gives an overview of the quality requirements for gasoline sold in Azerbaijan.
Conventional gasoline
In Azerbaijan, gasoline quality is regulated through the following voluntary standards produced by the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute:
    •AZS 388:2011 Motor fuels. Non-ethyl gasoline. Technical conditions, that defines three grades of octane (92, 95 and 98), and three levels of sulfur content: 150 mg/kg, 50 mg/kg and 10 mg/kg
    •AZS 936:2023 Fuel for internal combustion engines. Unleaded gasoline. Technical conditions, that defines two octane grades (92 and 95) and only one level for sulfur content: 10 mg/kg
