In June 2016, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) of the Philippines published the DENR Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2016-23 regulated that all new vehicles to be used or introduced to the Philippines market by July 2016 shall be equipped with Euro 4/IV-compliant engines. If the requirements are met, the Environmental Management Bureau will issue Certificates of Conformity for such vehicles.

From July 2007 to July 2016, new vehicles in the Philippines adhered to Euro 2 emission standards stated in the DAO No.2007-27.

The tables below show the emission standards for new light-duty vehicles (LDV) with internal combustion engines.
