Vehicles Fleet

The vehicle fleet in 2018 reached 5,480,018 units, which consisted of 289,314 vehicles more than 2017.

The new motorized vehicles, both light and trucks, reached 412,723 units, which meant a vehicle renewal rate of 7.5% throughout the country.

On the other hand, the loss of vehicles was 123,409 units, which corresponds to a 2.4% rate of vehicles that stopped circulating in the year.

The figure below depicts the number of vehicle registrations per type and year. As shown below, the number of yearly registrations has been increasing, particularly the used LDVs.
