Timeline for Biofuels Blending
SGS INSPIRE considered the following factors when estimating the future biofuel demand per feedstock.
National Climate and Energy Action Plan
For projected biofuel consumption, we used the national climate and energy action plan for the fossil and renewable energy consumption in the transport sector, and the policy targets for biofuels’ share in transportation. We expect that HVO, renewable electricity and bioethanol will be the major means of decarbonization.
