Biodiesel Content

SGS INSPIRE observed that biodiesel was blended rarely in diesel or at low levels because fuel suppliers in Finland prefer HVO blending. In the past two years, we have observed slightly bigger biodiesel blending volumes. Biodiesel is a cheaper diesel replacement option than HVO. It was chosen mainly by ST1 and ABC which do not produce HVO. Neste Oil’s (a major HVO producer) fuel stations did not distribute diesel with blended biodiesel according to SGS WWFS data.
