Timeline for biofuels blending

SGS INSPIRE estimates a biodiesel demand in Peru of about 384 million liters per year during 2024-2025, which would mean an increase of about 3% compared to 2022. Biodiesel consumption will increase as diesel consumption increases, and imports will be needed to cover the demand. No second-generation biofuels are expected to be produced in Peru and biodiesel is expected to be first generation. No changes are expected regarding the biodiesel mandate in Peru until 2030.
