Labeling
The also regulates the labeling requirements for retail containers and engine fuel pumps.
For diesel, dispensing pumps must be clearly marked as “diesel.”
For diesel with a biodiesel content of more than 5% v/v, dispensing pumps must be clearly marked to display the maximum percentage by volume of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) in the diesel, and the words “May not be suitable for all vehicles/engines. Check with the manufacturer before use.”
