Biodiesel blends

Biodiesel may be blended with diesel up to 5% v/v in Diesel No. 2 and up to 10% v/v in Premium Diesel, according to the Ecuadorian Technical Standard (NTE) from the Ecuadorian Service of Standardization (INEN) 1489:2021, but no significant biodiesel volume is currently used in Ecuador or has been used in the past.
