Projection for renewable energy in transport

According to Spain’s Update of the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) 2023-2030, published in 2024, the renewable energy share in transport should achieve 28% in 2030.

For the 2021-2030 period, the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge projects that the transport sector will play a major role in meeting the cumulative final energy savings goal.
