Recent developments

In September 2021, the Emirates Authority for Standards and Metrology (ESMA) published diesel specification UAE.S 477:2021. This specification reduces the maximum limit for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from 11% m/m to 8% m/m and introduced a maximum limit of 7% v/v for fatty acid methyl ester or biodiesel.
