Imports and exports

Under the Republic Act 9367 (Biofuels Act 2006), import of biodiesel is not allowed.

There is no biodiesel exported out of the Philippines, primarily because all production is absorbed domestically. In addition, biodiesel in the Philippines is derived from coconut oil which is typically more expensive than palm oil.
