Biodiesel content

At present, no maximum biodiesel content in diesel is regulated in the GSO diesel standard, GSO 477: 2011, and in QatarEnergy’s diesel standards.

SGS Worldwide Fuels Survey (WWFS) results for the diesel samples taken in 2011-2022 showed that no biodiesel was present. The figure below shows the average biodiesel content in diesel samples in 2011-2022.

Note: In 2017 and 2018, it was not possible to get gasoline samples out of Qatar due to an embargo.
