Standard GS 140:2017, petroleum and petroleum products – specifications for petrol (motor gasoline), indicates that the minimum octane number (research method) shall be legibly marked in a circle on dispensing pumps. The minimum internal diameter of the circle shall be 100 mm and the thickness of the outline shall be not less than 10 mm.
