Persons producing, importing and/or introducing raw materials to produce biofuels (including farmers, producer organizations and cooperatives), and persons placing biofuels on the market, pure or in mixtures and/or bioliquids for end-use, referred to as ‘economic operators’ should ensure that:

The obligation to provide information on measures taken to protect soil, land, water, air, etc. shall apply, unless otherwise provided for in the agreement with a third country or in voluntary national or international schemes establishing standards to produce biomass products.
