The Biofuel Sustainability Ordinance (Biokraft-NachV) provides sustainability criteria for biofuels sold in Germany.

Germany has fully transposed the sustainability criteria set by the European Union’s Renewable Energy Directive (RED II). Therefore, please take a look at the EU bio-based diesel report for more detailed information about the sustainability criteria.
