Labeling

Ministerial Resolution No. 129-18 of October 19, 2018, from the Ministry of Hydrocarbons, states that the fuel nozzle for gasoline with biofuel content must be identified with a green color.

The National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) is working on a regulatory framework to update the labeling in fuel stations, in order to identify the types of biofuels. The types of gasoline will be identified as follows: with an E8 the Special Gasoline Plus, with an E12 the Super Ethanol 92 Gasoline.
