Positive and negative list of feedstocks

Article 37b BImSchg defines hydrogenated biogenic oils as biofuels if they are obtained from biogenic oils or fats that are themselves biomass in the sense of the Biofuels Ordinance and if the hydrogenation has not been carried out in a refinery process together with oils of mineral oil (i.e. co-processing). Under these conditions, hydrogenated biogenic oils are to be treated in their entirety as biofuels.

The biofuels listed below cannot be counted toward the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction target:
