Bio-based gasoline grades available

There are three ethanol blends available in Spain: E5 (gasoline with 5% v/v of ethanol blended), E10 (gasoline with 10% v/v of ethanol blended), and E15 (gasoline with 15% v/v of ethanol blended). E85 (gasoline blended with ethanol in a proportion of 51% v/v to 85% v/v) used to be available in Spain but it is not the case any longer.

The share of E5 in the market is approximately 94.6% of the total gasoline pool, while E10’s share is the remaining share. E15 is only sold in a couple of fuel stations in Madrid. Renewable gasoline is also sold in three fuel stations in Madrid.
