Ula is an expert in global fuel quality regulations and market intelligence.
Ula joined SGS in 2017 as the development manager of the SGS INSPIRE project. In 2020 she moved to the Natural Resources group where she leads market intelligence business segment covering SGS's data and information services including SGS INSPIRE. She is an expert in global energy and environmental policies, regulations & market intelligence. She has 17 years’ experience in fuel regulations and policies, extensive network of policy makers and industry players from the energy & automotive industries.
Prior to joining SGS INSPIRE, Ula worked as a Director at Hart Energy, where she was responsible for the company’s operations and content coverage in Europe, CIS & Africa. She was a strategic advisor to one of the biggest global producers of renewable fuels, industry associations and several vehicle manufacturers. She advised African governments on fuel quality roadmaps. She commenced her professional career in the Polish Office of Competition & Consumer Protection where she supervised the department of legal & technical experts responsible for market surveillance. Among other tasks she was in charge of drafting the legislation on the fuel quality monitoring system in Poland. She represented Poland in the European Union committees on fuel quality.
Ula holds a masters degree in law, specializing in energy, trade, European Union and German law and several postgraduate studies. She speaks Polish, English, German & French and reads Russian & Spanish.
