Mexico's Secretariat of Energy (SENER) published its Guidelines on Hydrogen on March 19, 2024, establishing the priorities of the Mexican state regarding the adoption and deployment of hydrogen, its derivatives and processes, as an energy source. The guidelines include developing a roadmap so that the national low-emission hydrogen strategy can be generated.
Among the guidelines, the following stand out:
