On May 21, 2024, the Philippines Department of Energy (DOE) issued Department Circular (DC) 2021-05-0014, outlining the effective date for the B3 mandate. This mandate requires conventional diesel to contain 2.7-3.2% v/v of biodiesel, starting from October 1, 2024.
Furthermore, the government announced staggered implementation dates for the B4 and B5 mandates, scheduled to begin one year after the B3 mandate takes effect.
