Russian Federation: Sakhalin Hydrogen Valley operational by mid-2024

The first hydrogen valley in Russia dedicated to the production of green hydrogen is being constructed in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on the island of Sakhalin. The solar power plant installation stage was completed at the end of June. The first hydrogen generation is scheduled for July 13, 2024.

The valley includes four major projects. The first one is in the Sakhalin village of Novikovo, which has an isolated power system.
