The first hydrogen valley in Russia dedicated to the production of green hydrogen is being constructed in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on the island of Sakhalin. The solar power plant installation stage was completed at the end of June. The first hydrogen generation is scheduled for July 13, 2024.
