SGS would like to apply its extensive expertise in fuel testing to e-fuels by analysing a first batch of e-fuels samples within the first SGS Worldwide E-Fuel Survey 2024.
By analyzing e-fuels in detail, SGS will enable various industries to better plan how these fuels can be integrated into their business models and technologies to meet future challenges and market demands. Having a detailed understanding of e-fuels in terms of properties and quality is crucial to showcase their potential benefits compared to fossil fuels.
For the automotive industry, the integration of e-fuels presents an opportunity to reduce environmental impact and continue leveraging existing infrastructure while responding to a changing market and regulatory requirements.
Therefore, SGS is inviting e-fuel producing companies globally to facilitate 1 sample of the e-fuel that they are producing by October 2024. SGS experts will organize shipment and cover the costs of all the testing process. In exchange, SGS will provide a free test result for the company involved, in a digital format.
The results of the testing will be available to our customers as a primary data, but also within the SGS INSPIRE global reports on e-fuels.
