Colombia’s government published Resolution No. 40,431 of October 17, 2024, temporarily reducing the mandate for blending biodiesel with fossil diesel to 8% v/v from the 10% v/v established by Resolution No. 40,447 of October 31, 2022. As a result, the biodiesel content in fossil diesel is set at 8% v/v until December 31, 2024. From January 1, 2025 onwards, the 10% v/v blending mandate will be reestablished.
