Russian Federation: actualization of automotive industry development strategy

On March 3, 2025, the Government of the Russian Federation held a meeting on prospects for developing the automotive industry until 2035. The Strategy for the development of the country's automotive sector until 2035 was adopted on December 28, 2022. This Strategy includes goals for developing new technologies for electric vehicles (EV) and hydrogen passenger cars. To date, their development has been carried out within the framework of the Concept for the development of production and use of electric automobile transportation up to 2030 and the Concept for the development of hydrogen energy.
