The market share of Brazilian exports to the Asia Pacific region reached a historic high of 62.3% in January-March 2025, while the share of ethanol exports to South America reached a low of 0.4%. North America was the destination for 20.7% of Brazil's ethanol exports, followed by Africa with 8.1%, Europe with 4.9%, the Middle East with 2.8%, and Central America and the Caribbean with 0.8%.
The leading Asian destination for Brazilian ethanol exports was South Korea (60.0%), followed by the Philippines (2.3%).
