China: NEA issues draft revision to national standards for LPG and aviation fuel

On March 7, 2025, China’s National Energy Administration (NEA) released draft national standards for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and No.3 aviation fuel for public comment, with the consultation period open until May 7, 2025. These standard revision projects were first announced in September 2023 and officially initiated in October 2023.

Following the closure of the public comment period on May 7, the draft standards are currently under review by the National Technical Committee for Standardization. SGS INSPIRE anticipates that the finalized standards will be published in the second half of 2025.
