UK: 100,000 EV charging points to be rolled out

On June 13, 2025, the UK Department for Transport (DfT) announced that an additional 100,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging points will be rolled out across local communities in England for drivers without access to off-street parking.

This comes as part of the UK Local EV Infrastructure (LEVI) Fund announced in 2022, to support industry and local authorities in deploying EV charging in residential areas where there are no driveways to install EV charging points. It was one of the challenges identified in the EV Infrastructure Strategy.
