The Transportation Secretariat of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), through Resolution No. 111/SECT/25 published on July 15, 2025, in the Official Gazette of the City of Buenos Aires, established that, starting January 1, 2027, new vehicles registered with the Single Registry of Motor Passenger Transport (RUTAP) for collective passenger transport services must be powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) or electric engines.
