Under this new guidance, the emissions reduction is based on net emissions rather than the 28.9% reduction on an intensity basis, as per the Science Based Targets initiative, which was withdrawn in July 2024.The airline’s WTW emissions from aviation fuel accounted for 92% of its total GHG emissions in financial year 2024.
