Paraguay's Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) presented the National Strategy for the Green Hydrogen Economy in Paraguay in July 2025. This strategy outlines six key pillars, 20 lines of action and over 50 concrete measures to promote the production, use and regulation of green hydrogen (H2) as a central energy source in the decarbonization process. The Paraguayan government received technical and strategic support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in developing this strategy.
