Australia: Key changes in Australia’s fuel quality standards 2025

On 16 February 2025, the Australian Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) released updates to two existing fuel standards and introduced one entirely new standard:

All three came into effect on 24 February 2025. This marks the first time Australia has issued a dedicated paraffinic diesel standard.
