Uzbekistan: Fergana oil refinery starts to produce partially synthetic Jet-1 aviation fuel

Uzbekistani Fergana Oil Refinery has launched production of jet A-1 aviation fuel using a synthetic kerosene component produced at the Uzbekistan GTL plant. Uzbekistan GTL produces diesel, kerosene, naphtha and liquefied petroleum gas from natural gas through the Fischer-Tropsch reaction and the Sasol Slurry Phase Distillate Process™.

The project operator is Saneg JetWhites, a private oil and gas company in Uzbekistan.
