Alternative Diesel

Most countries of West Africa have no regulation or specification on biodiesel or biodiesel blends.

In Ghana, the Ghana Standards Authority published specifications for biodiesel B100 (GS 944:2008), although biodiesel is not consumed in the country.

In Nigeria, the Standards Organisation of Nigeria published specifications for biodiesel blends B6 to B20 (NIS 615:2018), although biodiesel is not consumed in the country.
