Conventional Diesel
Diesel quality specifications in Southern Africa are based on the South African standards:
    •The diesel specifications in Botswana and Swaziland are based on the South African standard SANS 342:2006
    •Namibia directly applies SANS 342:2014, as stated in the Government Notice No. 54 of March 9, 2016
    •Lesotho applies the South African standard SANS 342, but there is no legislation specifying which version of the standard is compulsory
