Refining Capacity

Alaska has five operable oil refineries with a total capacity of 178,500 barrels per stream day. Alaska refineries are small relative to typical West Coast refineries, and much less complex.

Alaska only refines 19% of all gasoline consumed in the state and 29% of all diesel consumed in the state.
