Fuel Quality
Fuels in Alaska, similarly to the rest of the U.S., are encouraged to meet American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D 4814-19 requirements for gasoline and ASTM D 975-19 requirements for diesel. There are no EPA vapor pressure limits for the states of Alaska or Hawaii.
Gasoline:
In standard ASTM D 4814-19, there are several properties with different limits depending on the state. These are mainly vapor pressure, distillation class and vapor lock requirements.
