Sulfur
The general trend shown by the SGS WWFS is the reduction of sulfur in diesel, particularly from 2015. The Tanzanian sulfur limit in TZS 674:2012-EAS 177:2012 standards were at 500 ppm since 2012 until the end of 2014. As of the beginning of 2015, the regulatory limit decreased to 50 ppm, and all tested samples comply with the limit.
Sulfur in the regions where samples were taken (Dar Es Salaam, the capital, and Arusha, at the border with Kenya) meet quality specifications, but in rural parts of the country there might be incompliances.
