Rules governing the quality requirements for fuels in Poland are regulated in the on the System of Monitoring and Control of Fuels Quality, as amended. It is a basic legal document establishing the fuel quality monitoring systems (FQMS), defining fuels covered by the FQMS, for which the quality requirements are established and public institutions holding regulatory authority and those responsible for fuels’ control and monitoring are defined Its scope covers also requirements related to greenhouse gas emissions reduction and fuel labeling. The law entered into force on July 1, 2020.
