Recent Developments
•From mid 2018, Sweden introduced a greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction target for gasoline-type fuels that drives bioethanol blending. Before that, bioethanol blending was mainly driven by reduced energy tax. However, in 2020, the energy tax exemption for the bioethanol grade E85 is due for revision
•Sweden is also planning to gradually introduce gasoline grade RON 95 E10
•Limited bionaphta usage has been noted in Sweden
