Conventional Gasoline
In Finland, the Government Decree on Quality Requirements for Motor Gasoline, Diesel Oil and Certain Other Liquid Fuels sets quality requirements for gasoline. It transposed and aligned them with the European Union (EU) Fuel Quality . For quality monitoring purposes, fuel suppliers should use the national standard EN 228.
In 2011, the European Commission granted Finland a vapour pressure waiver because of arctic weather conditions. Transition periods are from October 1 to November 30, and from March 1 to April 30. The summer period is from June 1 to August 31, during which the maximum vapour pressure is 70 kPa.
