Quality monitoring

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), together with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, witness sampling of cargo. All testing is done by independent inspection companies who confirm if cargoes meet specification limits and can be discharged. The NMDPRA does not publish the monitoring test. After witnessing, the NMDPRA gives approval before ship vessel discharge. In the refineries, the quality of diesel is tested before it is supplied.
