Actual quality

This section analyzes the actual quality of diesel sold at retail fuel outlets in Malaysia. Due to logistical issues, sampling was mainly carried out in parts of Peninsular Malaysia. Some samples are collected in Sabah and Sarawak. A total of 163 diesel samples were collected and analyzed in 2012-2023. The figures below show the location of the sampling and the number of samples taken. The size of the bubbles reflects the number of samples taken from that area.
