Two-wheeled Vehicles

The figure below shows the number of registered motorcycles vehicles in the period 2014-2018. The number of motorcycles rose yearly to reach about 3.5 million vehicles in 2018.

In some governorates in Egypt, such as Dakahlia and Gharbia, three-wheeled vehicles know as tuk tuk are commonly used. In 2017, the fleet of registered tuk tuk numbered 125,275, compared to 81,219 in 2015, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics.
