Octane Enhancers

Many types of octane enhancer are used by refiners to increase octane in gasoline. This section analyzes the use of metallic additives and oxygenates. In Denmark, Ethanol (EtOH) is the major, and depending on gasoline grade, the only octane enhancer used since 2015.
