Biodiesel content

SGS INSPIRE noted biodiesel blending in a wide range, from 0.1% v/v to 7.1% v/v in Italy. 10% of all Italian diesel samples taken from 2015 to 2020 by the SGS Worldwide Fuel Survey (WWFS) contained no biodiesel (FAME). Half of these biodiesel-free-diesel samples originated from the same supplier, however from different sample locations.

SGS WWFS noted three diesel samples, from 2020, where the biodiesel level was borderline with the legislative limit of 7% v/v maximum.
