Production capacity

As of February 29, 2024, the Department of Energy in the Philippines accredited 13 biodiesel producers for commercial activity. However, one of these producers is currently inactive, leaving the country with a total operational capacity of 615.33 million liters per year.

Additionally, four plants, with a combined annual capacity of 251.45 million liters, have received notices to proceed with construction. Among them, the biodiesel production plant of Voice Development Corporation has successfully completed testing and commissioning and is presently in the process of securing the necessary documentation for accreditation application.
