Imports and exports

This region is a net exporter of gasoline. In 2023, a total of 2.54 million tonnes of gasoline were exported, with Singapore receiving 1.42 million tonnes, which accounted for 55.9% of total exports. Malaysia followed with 13.7%, and Indonesia accounted for 7.5%. In terms of imports, the total volume reached 123,654 tonnes in 2023.
