Imports to Spain

Spain diesel imports come mainly from Russia and the U.S. A small amount of diesel contamination was reported in particle counts in November 2018 in Spain. According to SGS Worldwide Fuel Survey data, the maximum particle count data using the ISO 4406 standard for hydraulic fluid power-fluids-method for coding the level of contamination for solid particles was found to be >5,000/ml in 2018, 2019, and 2021. Interestingly, from 2019 to 2022, increasing supplies of diesel imports have originated in Russia.
